DIGGING YOURSELF OUT OF THE ANXIETY RABBIT HOLE

So often we discover too late that our beliefs were the root of our problems all along. And so, we find ourselves in infodemic hysteria with outrageous conspiracy theories driven by fear.

The human mind can very easily go into fear-based tangents as It tries to figure out what’s going on, what to do and what’s coming next. Creating a frenzy of infectious negative energy that consumes any who will listen. And there are far too many that do.

The mind, especially fueled by fear will create crazy, outlandish schemes that could be going on – I know this all too well, as I type I can feel my mind trying to go in this direction. So, what to do to not go down the deadly rabbit hole?

The answer is different for everyone but the best tools I’ve found is to start with Gratitude. Be grateful for what you have now. You are alive, you are healthy, you have a roof over your head. Those 3 things alone are abundance in themselves.

Another is acceptance of the unknown, which can be hard to do especially if you’ve already started digging your rabbit hole. But fear not, for you can find your way out again. The answers already lie within. You just have to accept the current circumstances and Surrender to the unknown. This can be scary, and you will more than likely meet with resistance. But it is this resistance that holds you back from true peace.

I cannot promise an easy journey. In fact, I can promise it will be hard. It takes tremendous effort to shift the paradigm of your current thoughts and even when you do, even when you know better, you will still find yourself a victim of past fear-based beliefs. But it is the awareness of knowing better that makes all the difference.

So please, before you cause yourself undue pain and suffering, take a breath and check yourself before you wreck yourself.
